My Internship

I am an artist. This is common knowledge amongst my peers at ACLC. Whenever theres a project with a drawing or artistic portion, I am one of the people who is fought over. I enjoy drawing, painting, sculpture, music. Artistic expression is just an integral part of who I am.
Because of how unconventional this year has been, ACLC changed the requirements of the internship. Anything that betters yourself can be an internship, so I took that idea and ran with it. I decided to do something that would benefit my skill as an artist, while simultaneously helping me make money in preparation for college.
I decided to start a business. I offer equine portraits (reference the equestrian page to learn more about my sport) and I charge hourly. In all honesty, I never expected the business to take off the way it did. I am constantly completely booked, and I have already made significantly more money than I thought I would. I decided to charge minimum wage hourly, but at this point, I'm looking at raising my prices.
I am planning on extending this business past the needs of my internship. I am making a business website, an Etsy shop, and I will also be setting up a booth at horse shows this summer.
